About Paul E. Prusakowski, CPO, FAAOP
Since entering the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics, Paul Prusakowski has been dedicated to providing the highest quality care to his patients while also working to further the profession as a whole. Though his practice is located in Gainesville his contributions to the profession are recognized worldwide.
Prior to opening Gainesville Prosthetics in 1998, Paul practiced at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Shriner's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Southern Illinois University and a number of independent O&P practices around the country. This unique mix of academic and private practice experience with adults and children has given Paul a wealth of knowledge in both adult and pediatric care. This experience coupled with his dedication to providing the highest level of care helps each individual patient achieve the most comfort and success possible.
Paul's interest in integrating computer technology with clinical practice also led to the development of his software company, O&P Digital Technologies (oandp.com). This company creates online information systems to help patients, physicians and other O&P practitioners exchange information about prosthetic technology more effectively. O&P Digital Technologies also created the profession's most advanced electronic medical records software, which is currently being used by practices around the world.
